A person who knowingly or intentionally hinders or obstructs:

1. (1) a law enforcement officer;
2. (2) a fire official;
3. (3) an emergency management official;
4. (4) an animal trained to detect destructive devices; or

5. (5) a robot or mechanical device designed or used by a law enforcement officer, fire official, or emergency management official;

   of Indiana or of the United States in the detection, disarming, or destruction of a destructive device commits a Level 4 felony.
