Ind. Code § 35-32-2-6
(a) Subject to subsection (b), a person who commits the offense of identity deception or synthetic identity deception (before its repeal) may be tried in a county in which:
(2) the person:
(D) uses;
the information used to commit the offense.
(b) If:
(2) either:
(B) the person performs an act described in subsection (a)(2) in more than one (1) county;
the person may be tried in any county described in subdivision (2).
