Ind. Code § 34-44-2-1

Applicability of chapter

As added by P.L.1-1998, SEC.40.

(a) This chapter applies to an action brought to recover damages for:
1. (1) personal injuries;
2. (2) wrongful death; or
3. (3) property damage.
(b) This chapter does not apply to actions in which there is more than one (1) defendant.
