1. (a) If property, other than money, is paid or delivered to the attorney general under this chapter, the owner is entitled to receive from the attorney general any dividends, interest, or other increments realized or accruing on the property at or before delivery to the attorney general.

2. (b) Except as provided in section 30.1 of this chapter, the owner is not entitled to receive dividends, interest, or other increments accruing after delivery of the property to the attorney general under this chapter unless the property was paid or delivered under section 39(b) of this chapter.
