Ind. Code § 32-30-2-9

Multiple parties; recovery

As added by P.L.2-2002, SEC.15.

If there are two (2) or more plaintiffs or defendants, one (1) or more of the plaintiffs may recover against one (1) or more of the defendants:

  1. (1) the premises or any part of the premises;
  2. (2) an interest in the premises; or
  3. (3) damages;

    according to the right of the parties, but the recovery may not be for an interest greater than the interest claimed by the party.
