1. (a) Before entering upon their duties, the appraisers shall take and subscribe an oath that they will honestly appraise the property at its fair cash value.
2. (b) The appraisers shall make a report of their appraisement within a time fixed by the court.

3. (c) If the appraisers fail for any cause to make a report within the time fixed by the court, the court may extend the time or may appoint other appraisers.
