Ind. Code § 31-25-1-1

Department established; director

As added by P.L.145-2006, SEC.271.

(a) The department of child services is established.
(b) The governor shall appoint a director who is responsible for administering the department of child services. The director:
1. (1) serves at the governor's pleasure; and
2. (2) is entitled to compensation set by the budget agency.
