1. (a) An Indiana court shall recognize and enforce a child custody determination of a court of another state if the court of another state exercised jurisdiction in substantial conformity with this article or the determination:

   1. (1) was made under factual circumstances meeting the jurisdictional standards of this article; and
   2. (2) has not been modified in accordance with this article.

2. (b) An Indiana court may use a remedy available under any other Indiana law to enforce a child custody determination made by a court of another state. The remedies provided in this article:

   1. (1) are cumulative; and
   2. (2) do not affect the availability of other remedies to enforce a child custody determination.
