Ind. Code § 3-9-3-1

Application of chapter; certain exception for political party offices

  1. (a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), this chapter applies to candidates in all elections and caucuses and to the following types of committees:

    1. (1) Candidate's committees.
    2. (2) Regular party committees.
    3. (3) Political action committees.
    4. (4) An auxiliary party organization.
    5. (5) A legislative caucus committee.
  2. (b) Section 4 of this chapter does not apply to candidates for federal office.
  3. (c) Section 2.5 of this chapter does not apply to candidates for the following:

    1. (1) Precinct committeeman.
    2. (2) State convention delegate.
