Ind. Code § 3-8-1-16

Circuit court judge

As added by P.L.5-1986, SEC.4.

A candidate for the office of judge of a circuit court must:

  1. (1) reside in the circuit; and
  2. (2) be admitted to the practice of law in the state;

    upon taking office, as provided in Article 7, Section 7 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana.
