Ind. Code § 3-8-1-10

Attorney general

A candidate for the office of attorney general must:

  1. (1) have resided in Indiana for at least two (2) years before the election; and
  2. (2) have been admitted to the practice of law in Indiana for at least five (5) years upon taking office.
