Ind. Code § 28-8-4-55
Compromise, settlement, and collection of civil penalties
As added by P.L.42-1993, SEC.85.
The director, in the exercise of reasonable judgment, is authorized to compromise, settle, and collect civil penalties from a person for a violation of:
(1) a provision of this chapter; or
(2) an order issued or promulgated pursuant to this chapter.
