Sections 6.7 and 11.5 of this chapter, as added in the 2026 session of the general assembly, and section 10 of this chapter, as amended in the 2026 session of the general assembly, apply to claims submitted under an accident and sickness insurance policy that:

1. (1) is issued, delivered, amended, or renewed after June 30, 2026; and
2. (2) provides coverage during a plan year beginning after December 31, 2026.
