Managed care and claims handling techniques
As added by P.L.193-1996, SEC.1.
A reinsuring carrier shall apply all managed care and claims handling techniques, including:
- (1) utilization review;
- (2) individual case management;
- (3) preferred provider provisions; and
(4) other managed care provisions or methods of operation;
consistently with respect to reinsured and nonreinsured business.
