This chapter shall be supplemental to IC 27-1 . All provisions of IC 27-1 shall be fully and completely applicable to this chapter in the same manner as if the provisions of this chapter had been an original part of IC 27-1 ; provided, that the provisions of this chapter shall be controlling in the event there exists any conflict between the provisions of this chapter and the provisions of IC 27-1 .
