The office shall submit a written request to the United States Department of Health and Human Services for approval of the managed care assessment fee on or after June 30, 2025. Subject to the requirements of this chapter, the office is authorized to negotiate with the United States Department of Health and Human Services regarding the terms and conditions for the implementation and maintenance of the fee.
