Ind. Code § 27-1-4.1-1 – Application and scope of chapter

(a) This chapter applies beginning January 1, 2016.
(b) This chapter does not do the following:
1. (1) Impose corporate governance standards or internal procedures that are not otherwise required under IC 27 .
2. (2) Limit the commissioner's authority, or the rights and obligations of third parties, under IC 27-1-3.1 .
