1. (a) The insurance commissioner may, after notice and hearing under IC 4-21.5 , impose on the provider facility a civil penalty of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each violation of this chapter.
2. (b) A civil penalty collected under this section shall be deposited in the department of insurance fund established by IC 27-1-3-28 .
