This chapter does not apply to the following:

1. (1) A warranty provided under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. 2301 et seq.

2. (2) A contract that is effective for a specified period and under which a person agrees to:

   1. (A) provide; or

   2. (B) indemnify the contract holder for;

      regular maintenance.

3. (3) A motor club approved under IC 9-30-2-8 .
