After the five (5) year period referred to in section 1 of this chapter, the following apply:

1. (1) The agency may not restore the expired registration of an interior designer.

2. (2) To again be registered under this chapter, an interior designer must:

   1. (A) make the same application to the agency as an applicant who has not been previously registered; and
   2. (B) meet all the requirements set forth in this article for an initial registration.
