- (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the board shall approve an application to be a sponsor if a person files an application with the board at least thirty (30) days before the date the continuing education program is scheduled to commence.
- (b) The board may approve an application that does not meet the thirty (30) day requirement described in subsection (a) due to extenuating circumstances, as determined by the board on a case by case basis.
- (c) Approval as a sponsor under this section is valid for one (1) year and expires on January 31 of each year.
