1. (a) This chapter does not apply to any of the following licenses:

   1. (1) Any type of social work license issued under IC 25-23.6-5 .
   2. (2) Any type of marriage and family therapist license issued under IC 25-23.6-8 .
   3. (3) Any type of mental health counselor license issued under IC 25-23.6-8.5 .
   4. (4) Any type of addiction counselor or clinical addiction counselor license issued under IC 25-23.6-10.5 .
   5. (5) Any type of respiratory care practitioner license issued under IC 25-34.5 .
2. (b) This chapter does not prohibit an applicant from proceeding under other licensure, certification, registration, or permit requirements established by a board or another law.
