In the securities divisions' investigative, examination, and regulatory activities related to licensees under this article, the securities division may cooperate with the Indiana department of financial institutions in the regulation of a licensee that conducts:

1. (1) business under this article; and
2. (2) business that requires licensure under IC 24-4.4 .
