Ind. Code § 23-2-5-14

Civil penalty; actions to enforce penalties

As added by P.L.235-1985, SEC.1. Amended by P.L.230-1999, SEC.8.
  1. (a) If the commissioner determines, after a hearing, that a person has violated this chapter, the commissioner may, in addition to all other remedies, impose a civil penalty upon the person in an amount not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for each violation.
  2. (b) The commissioner may bring an action in the circuit or superior court of Marion County to enforce payment of any penalty imposed under this section.
