1. (a) This section does not apply to a person that stores or transports anhydrous ammonia (NH 3 ) or an ammonia solution for a lawful agricultural or commercial purpose.

2. (b) A person who knowingly or intentionally stores or transports anhydrous ammonia (NH 3 ) or an ammonia solution:

   1. (1) in a container that does not; or

   2. (2) with appurtenances that do not;

      conform to the requirements of a law governing the design, construction, location, installation, or operation of equipment for storage, handling, use, or transportation of anhydrous ammonia (NH 3 ) or an ammonia solution commits a Class A misdemeanor.
