An alumni member appointed to the board of trustees must have completed a prescribed course of study by Indiana State University or one (1) of the following predecessors of Indiana State University:

1. (1) Indiana State Normal School.
2. (2) Indiana State Teachers College.

3. (3) Indiana State College.
