As used in this chapter, "eligible student" means a child or an emancipated minor:

1. (1) who is enrolled in an accredited nonpublic school in kindergarten or grades 1 through 12; and

2. (2) in the case of:

   1. (A) a child, whose parent meets; or

   2. (B) an emancipated minor, meets;

      the financial eligibility standard under IC 20-33-5 .
