Not later than July 1, 2026, and not later than July 1 each year thereafter, the department shall do the following:

1. (1) Prepare a report that includes the following information:

   1. (A) The percentage of students, disaggregated by grade and school, who:

      1. (i) scored "above proficient" on the ILEARN assessment for math in grades 5, 6, and 7; and
      2. (ii) were enrolled in an advanced math course in the subsequent school year.

   2. (B) The percentage of students, disaggregated by grade and school, who:

      1. (i) scored "above proficient" on the ILEARN assessment for math in grades 5, 6, and 7; and
      2. (ii) were not enrolled in an advanced math course in the subsequent school year.
2. (2) Submit the report to the legislative council in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 .
