1. (a) The corporation board shall appoint an individual recommended by the mayor as the executive director of the corporation.

2. (b) The executive director:

   1. (1) serves at the pleasure of the corporation board; and

   2. (2) shall do the following:

      1. (A) Administer, manage, and direct the affairs and activities of the corporation and any employees of the corporation in accordance with the policies and under the control and direction of the members of the corporation board.
      2. (B) Approve all allowable expenses of the corporation or of any employee or consultant, and expenses incidental to the operation of the corporation.
      3. (C) Perform other duties as may be directed by the members of the corporation board in carrying out the purposes of this article.
3. (c) The corporation board shall set the salaries of the executive director and any employees of the corporation.
