- (a) If an intermediary, an industry talent association, or a school connects a student with an employer to obtain work experience as part of a work based learning program, the intermediary, industry talent association, or school and the employer shall enter into a written agreement under which the employer assumes responsibility for obtaining worker's compensation insurance coverage for any student who performs services for the employer as part of the work based learning program.
- (b) An intermediary, an industry talent association, or a school may comply with subsection (a) by entering into an agreement with a third party employer of record.
