The president pro tempore of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives shall each designate one (1) legislative member of the host committee to serve as a co-chairperson of the host committee. The president pro tempore shall designate a member of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives shall designate a member of the house of representatives for this purpose.
