1. (a) A homestead vendor or the owner of a small farm who sells meat products from livestock under this chapter must keep the meat products refrigerated in a manner consistent with best food handling practices.

2. (b) A homestead vendor or the owner of a small farm who is subject to section 8 of this chapter shall:

   1. (1) handle;
   2. (2) refrigerate;
   3. (3) transport; and

   4. (4) store;

      the meat products or food products in a manner that prevents contamination or adulteration.
