As used in this chapter, "laboratory animal carcasses, body parts, blood and body fluids, and bedding" means carcasses, body parts, blood and blood products in liquid or semiliquid form, and bedding of animals that have been intentionally or are suspected of having been exposed to pathogens in:

1. (1) research;
2. (2) production of biologicals;
3. (3) the in vivo testing of pharmaceuticals; or
4. (4) other procedures.
