The superintendent may, subject to IC 4-24-3-2 , receive for the use of the home:

1. (1) gifts;
2. (2) legacies;
3. (3) devises; and

4. (4) conveyances of real and personal property;

   that are made, given, or granted to or for the home or in the name of the home.
