Retail pet store microchip requirements
As added by P.L.4-2024, SEC.20.
A retail pet store operator must:
(1) microchip each dog before the sale of the dog; and
(2) provide each purchaser with the necessary information to register a microchip placed in a dog with a searchable data base.
