1. (a) Assessments collected by the IPPA under the program are subject to refund requests by a producer if the producer requests a refund under the procedure established by the IPPA.
2. (b) A producer's application for a refund under this section must be made to the IPPA not more than one hundred eighty (180) days after the assessment is deducted from the market value of the porcine animal or pork product.
3. (c) If a refund is due under this section, the IPPA shall remit the refund to the producer not later than thirty (30) days after the date the producer's completed application and proof of assessment are received.
