1. (a) Fees collected by the state chemist under this chapter shall be paid to the treasurer of Purdue University. The board of trustees of Purdue University shall expend the money received under this section on proper vouchers in meeting all necessary expenses in carrying out this chapter, including:

   1. (1) the employment of inspectors and chemists;
   2. (2) other expenses of the work of feed inspection as provided for by this chapter; and
   3. (3) any other expenses of Purdue University agricultural programs authorized by law and in support of the purposes of this chapter.

2. (b) Excess funds from the collection of fees under this chapter are subject to IC 15-16-2-36 .
