Ind. Code § 15-19-4-1

Trapping, killing, or injuring; offense

A person who:

  1. (1) traps, detains, injures, or kills a pigeon, knowing that the pigeon is a racing pigeon, homer, racing homer, or homing pigeon; and

  2. (2) is not the owner of the pigeon;

    commits a Class C infraction.
