1. (a) The board shall file a report with the director before October 1 of each year.

2. (b) The report required under subsection (a) must contain the following information:

   1. (1) The income received from the assessments and penalties collected under this chapter for the preceding fiscal year.
   2. (2) The expenditure of funds by the board during the year for the administration of this chapter.
   3. (3) A brief description of all contracts requiring the expenditure of funds by the board and the action taken by the board on all contracts.
   4. (4) An explanation of all programs relating to the discovery, promotion, and development of markets and industries for the use of dairy products and the direct expense associated with each program.
   5. (5) The name and address of each member of the board.
   6. (6) A brief description of the rules and orders adopted by the board.

3. (c) The report required under subsection (a) shall be available to the public upon request.
