1. (a) If the state veterinarian issues an order under section 3 of this chapter:

   1. (1) the state veterinarian shall give notice of the order to the county health officer of the county within which the quarantined area is located; and

   2. (2) the county health officer shall:

      1. (A) publish notice of the order as provided in IC 5-3-1 ; and
      2. (B) deliver a copy of the order to the sheriff of the county.

2. (b) The sheriff shall assist in the enforcement of this chapter.
