As used in this chapter, "terrestrial ecologist" means a scientist with a degree in, extensive training in, or experience in at least one (1) of the following:

1. (1) Animal ecology.
2. (2) Plant ecology.
3. (3) Vertebrate natural history.
4. (4) Herpetology.
5. (5) Ornithology.
6. (6) Mammalogy.

7. (7) Field zoology.
