1. (a) An election of an ISA board member shall be held in a district in the year in which the term of the district's ISA board member is to expire.

2. (b) The ISA shall provide notice to producers of the district of the impending election by:

   1. (1) publishing one (1) or more notices in a statewide agricultural publication; and

   2. (2) making information available to the news media in the district;

      four (4) months before the day of the election.
