- (a) When necessary, the ISA may appoint individuals who hold offices of importance to the soybean industry or have special expertise concerning the soybean industry to participate in the work of the ISA. These individuals may not participate in votes taken by the ISA but are eligible for reimbursement for traveling expenses in the same manner as ISA board members under section 19(g) of this chapter.
- (b) A person appointed under this section serves a term of one (1) year but may be reappointed for additional terms.
