1. (a) The committee consists of the following members:

   1. (1) The director of the Purdue University cooperative extension service, who shall serve as chairperson of the committee.
   2. (2) Two (2) members of the commission, appointed by the chairperson of the commission.
   3. (3) Two (2) members of the board, appointed by the presiding officer of the board.
   4. (4) Agricultural and educational professionals, jointly appointed by the chairperson of the committee and the chairperson of the commission.
2. (b) Members appointed under this section serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority.
