1. (a) The trustees shall elect a member of the trustees serving under section 3(a)(11) of this chapter to be the presiding officer of the trustees. The trustee elected under this subsection is the presiding officer of the trustees until the earlier of the following:

   1. (1) The expiration of the trustee's term.
   2. (2) The replacement of the trustee as presiding officer by the trustees.

2. (b) The trustees may elect other officers for the trustees from the trustees serving under section 3(a)(11) of this chapter.
