An association may be organized to engage in any activity in connection with the following:

1. (1) Producing, marketing, or selling the agricultural products of the association's members and others.
2. (2) Harvesting, preserving, drying, processing, canning, packing, grading, storing, handling, shipping, or use of agricultural products of the association's members and others.
3. (3) Manufacturing or marketing the byproducts of agricultural products of the association's members and others.
4. (4) Manufacturing, selling, or supplying machinery, equipment, or supplies to the association's members and others.
5. (5) Financing activities described in subdivisions (1) through (4).

6. (6) Performing or furnishing services of an economic or educational nature, on a cooperative basis for persons engaged in agriculture or in any one (1) or more of the activities specified in this section.
