1. (a) Injury, death, or occupational disease of a conservation officer arising out of and during the course of the performance of the officer's duties as a conservation officer is compensable under IC 22-3 .

2. (b) For the purposes of this chapter and IC 22-3 , all conservation officers are conclusively presumed to have accepted the compensation provisions of IC 22-3 .
