Ind. Code § 14-33-2-10

Transfer to court having jurisdiction

As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.26.
  1. (a) A court in which a petition is filed shall order the proceedings transferred to the court having jurisdiction under section 9 of this chapter if:

    1. (1) the petition was filed in the wrong court by mistake; or
    2. (2) the petition is amended so that another county has more land in the proposed district.
  2. (b) The court that establishes a district retains jurisdiction over the district regardless of a change in area of the district that results from later proceedings.
