- (a) A political subdivision in a participating county may under IC 36-1-7 enter into a cooperative agreement with a commission and at least one (1) other legal entity, including a legal entity in another state.
- (b) If a commission intends to enter into a cooperative agreement under subsection (a), the commission shall post public notice of the proposed cooperative agreement at least ten (10) business days before the meeting at which the cooperative agreement is scheduled to be voted on by the commission.
- (c) Before a commission may vote on the cooperative agreement under this section, the cooperative agreement must be approved by the department.
