Ind. Code § 14-27-6-9

Board; eligibility of members

As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.20.

To be eligible to be appointed as a member of the board, an individual must meet the following conditions:

(1) Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
(2) Be a resident householder of the city if appointed by the city executive.
(3) Be a resident of the county.
